Pier 58 Gloucester is a Gloucester-based, non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance our vibrant community by funding, creating and operating a multi-use venue for entertainment, conferences, the arts, education and celebrations in a beautiful and welcoming environment.
As a non-profit focused on giving back to the Gloucester community, Pier 58 Gloucester’s building use and ticket surcharge would be used entirely to support Gloucester’s fishing industry and infrastructure. We aim to create an inclusive space that would enhance as well as showcase the city’s beautiful harbor and thoughtfully honor our city’s identity as home to both the oldest fishing port and art colony in the country.

Pier 58 Gloucester would welcome the public for cultural, conference, educational and civic endeavors. The building would be much more than a physical space for performances and events. It would be a beacon to the world that showcases Gloucester as a dynamic community where the blue economy interacts with a thriving arts community. It would be an anchoring place that would bind artists, fishermen, researchers, residents, students, visitors, businesses and non-profits together.
